Associate Implementation Consultant
Role Objective
Hands-on configuration of our in-house software platform to meet defined client requirements using an internal delivery methodology. You will be working as part of a wider team with Implementation Consultants/Senior Implementation Consultants, Project Managers, Benefit Consultants and Communication Consultants to ensure that systems are delivered to a high quality and to client satisfaction.
You will be working on multiple projects at one time which typically last from 4-6 months in duration. Our clients are companies from all sectors ranging from 100-20,000 employees in size.
Essential Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have experience of:
- Experience of Product configuration or IT systems development; Unit and User Acceptance Testing (UAT); System requirement definition using workshops & documentation
- Excellent communication skills: both written and spoken
- Understanding and experience of delivery methodologies
- Experience of managing delivery to deadlines against a plan including prioritisation of tasks & dependencies
- Ability to work with minimal supervision on multiple projects at one time
- Minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent in any discipline, although technical degree preferred
Key Responsibilities
Client Management
- Provide regular status reports to Implementation Consultants, Implementation Lead and Project Manager detailing progress of system build and relevant risks & issues
- Provide technical solutions to clients when client requirements may be outside of the capabilities of software
Technical/System Implementation
- Configure software in line with project documentation and to meet agreed client requirements both in the office and on client site
- Create reports and report schedules in line with monthly adminstration processes
- Perform unit testing of configuration deliverables
- Support client in all User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
- Attend system and upgrade training sessions
- Share knowledge with Implementation team on system bugs, issues and solutions
Project Management
- Raise project risks & issues to the Implementation Consultant and Project Manager
- Demonstrate time management skills in order that multiple tasks can be managed simultaneously and delivered to agreed dates
- Provide regular reports to Implementation Lead, Project Manager and team on status of projects and risk to delivery dates via the Project Tracker
- Complete weekly timesheet
- Provide estimates for Implementation work to Project Manager for budgeting purposes
Implementation Methodology
- Proactively provide feedback on the effectiveness of the Methodology.
