Body Shop 'to outsource flexible benefits'

The Body Shop has announced it is to outsource its flexible benefits plan for employees, after working on it in-house for ten years.

Flexible benefits have been divided into three categories - My Health, My Money and My Family - in order to help staff understand the process of the employee benefit, reports Employeebenefits.co.uk.

The new scheme, to be provided by Team Rewards, will be available online, and all three categories will be promoted separately.

Reward and benefits advisor at the Body Shop Francine Smith, explained: "We are getting rid of all the language of flex, which a lot of people do not understand, and keeping it simple and meaningful for employees so the benefits on offer are ones they actually need."

Meanwhile, Dr Graeme Codrington, futurist at Tomorrowtoday.uk.com said that the evolution of technology will better facilitate flexible working in the years to come, with improved bandwidth, cloud computing and video chat being just a few of the technologies that will aid the employee benefit.
