Application Support Team Lead

Our Application Support Specialists work within our Technology Operations Team to ensure Thomsons Online Benefits is a market leader in innovative technology related total reward and flexible benefit programmes.




 What you will be doing:

  • Supporting and maintaining core Atlassian product suite.

  • Liaising with one or more 3rd party vendors to proactively drive effective resolution of incidents, task and problems.

  • Identify, manage and resolve common system issues.

  • Resolving incidents and service requests received via the Technology Service Desk.

  • Support analysis and advice to internal and external users.

  • Ensuring all processes & procedures are appropriately documented.

  • Implementing change and release management for business applications.

  • Logging, classifying and prioritising incidents and service requests via the service desk software.

  • Ability to prioritise incoming queries/issues and work load, manage expectations of resolution times.

  • Ensure application security is in line with business requirements and, where applicable, is ISO compliant.

  • Ensure the application environment is meeting the needs of the users, though analysis of recurring incidents and problem management.

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand the requirements and changes necessary.

  • Resolution of incidents and service requests within the agreed Operational Level agreements

  • Technology procurement as directed.

  • Document support processes and procedures for managing business applications.


We're looking for a PINK person with:

  • Excellent communication skill.

  • Experience working on and administration of Atlassian products.

  • High attention to detail.

  • A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the work.

  • Ability to work well within a team.

  • Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure.

  • Educated to  A level or relevant vocational qualification
