Graduate Finance Analyst

The Graduate Finance Analyst will be a bright graduate to assist on commercial projects with focus on revenue, expenses and profitability of clients, whilst having a desire to analyse business performance and want to develop their commercial/finance career through a professional qualification (CIMA/ACCA).

Their role will be key in assisting the analysis and reporting of revenue on a weekly basis and expense and headcount data on a monthly basis, whilst assisting on inputs towards operational, budgeting and forecasting plans.

An understanding of systems, KPI tracking and dashboards to measure performance and sales targets will be an essential part of the role to aid with understanding the business and providing analytic support where required.

They will also be responsible for updating, maintaining and analysing the data involved in producing Client Profitability Reporting and produce the report on a monthly basis to drive key commercial decisions and actions. The role will also include assisting on month-end reporting and accounting, providing analysis and helping in the preparation of the management accounts.


 What you will be doing:

  • Weekly reporting of revenue for strategic decision making

  • Analysing and reporting on expense data

  • Monthly reporting of Darwin headcount and analysing monthly go-lives

  • Analysing data and providing insight into the client and product portfolio

  • Support the strategic decision making discussions

  • Support the Commercial Finance Business Partner with ad hoc financial analysis and projects as appropriate

Qualifications (Required):

 Numerate Graduate (2.1 is a pre-requisite)

Qualifications (Desirable):

 •Beggining early stages of further qualifications (CIMA/ACCA)

•1-2 years’ previous experience preparing or working with data (internship or gap year roles).
