We are looking for an individual who is passionate about a career in marketing and looking for an opportunity to learn and to grow professionally. This role would suit a confident marketing graduate, or current student looking for a year of placement work within industry.
Working within a busy and vibrant international marketing team, the purpose of this role is to support lead generating marketing campaigns to drive new business acquisition and customer retention. Working across multiple stakeholder groups including marketing, sales, consulting and client teams, this role will assist in executing a multi-channel marketing plan.
Delivering a tactical marketing execution plan in line with business opportunity generation targets, local budgets and company’s proposition and thought leadership programmes.
Measure, track, analyse and regularly distribute reports on the effectiveness of overall demand creation and ROI as well as update contact lists and marketing database.
Execute the social media strategy, ensuring that Thomsons has the required digital presence
Assist in the creation and delivery of relevant marketing material, including client case studies, using a mix of media for sales enablement and field use.
Data building, segmentation and maintenance to ensure success of effective targeted marketing campaigns.
Manage third party suppliers and work with relevant associations and partnerships to support business generation objectives.
Execute outbound email campaigns on marketing automation system.
Assist in event and webinar organisation and delivery.
General organisation and maintenance of marketing collateral stock levels.
Manage and continuously update Thomsons website content in line with digital strategy.
Strong digital skills with preferable experience of website content maintenance and social media.
University student studying a BA/BSc in a Business Management, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
Highly competent using MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Excellent writing skills, with high attention to detail of both content and presentation impact, and ability to work to and apply branding guidelines
Fluent in English; other languages a bonus.
Detail Conscious: Methodical worker; likes to be organised and systematic and a focus on detail
High energy, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels.
Conscientious, thrives on keeping busy and having a lot to do; persists with tasks until completion
