Thomsons’ pension team is responsible for providing consultancy & administration services to a portfolio of over 120 corporate pension clients. As a UK Pensions Administrator, a role which sits within the Pension Delivery Team, you will provide full outsourced pension administration services to clients.

You will be closely working with our product Darwin™, a cloud-based global benefits management and employee engagement software, used by some of the world’s most innovative companies.

 

What will you be doing:

  • Providing a full outsourced pension administration service to assigned pension administration clients to include: 
    • Reconciling and submitting monthly pension schedules to providers to ensure pension contributions are received by pension providers in line with legislative timescales
    • Processing pension joiners, leavers and opt outs in occurrence with the pension providers requirements
    • Dealing with adhoc pension administration requests from employers and employees
  • Maintaining pension data / employee facing content on our product Darwin™
  • Processing transfers and annuity requests
  • Running employee engagement campaigns on Darwin™,
  • Providing support as required to internal Thomsons teams

 

We are looking for a PINK person, with:

  • Excellent English skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent communication skills, confident in speaking to people and dealing with challenges
  • Ability to build rapport and confidently respond to customer queries
  • Good Excel skills to include experience of manipulation and comparison of data sets
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organised and strong time management skills
  • Strong self-motivation and a good team player - flexible to meet the needs of the team
  • The ability to meet deadlines and experience of working within SLAs
  • Would be a plus:
    • Basic UK pensions/auto-enrolment knowledge
