Facility Manager

As a Facility Manager, you will be responsible for the management of all services and processes that support the core business of our organisation. You will ensure that best practices are followed for maximum efficiency and that the most suitable working environment is attained for our people and support their work activities.

This is a diverse field with a range of responsibilities, which may evolve as the structure and size of our company evolves. You will be involved in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to buildings and premises. Likely areas of responsibility will include building and grounds maintenance, health and safety, procurement and contract management, office security, utilities and communications infrastructure.

 

 

What will you be doing:

  • Developing, overseeing and administering contracts and providers for all office services including security, parking, cleaning, technology and so on, as well as the annual Romania sites budget
  • Responsible for the overall management of the site and ensuring we have a good working environment and we are up to date with all regular checks and relevant audits
  • Ensuring the building meets health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with our internal standards and the local legislation
  • Responsible for design, construction and maintenance of assigned facilities including, but not limited to: review and approval of site plans and revisions, office optimisations, coordinate office changes
  • Part of the Cluj Leadership Team, planning best allocation and utilisation of space and resources – to sustain our working environment standards, site efficiency, in line with your business expansion needs
    Planning for future building development in line with strategic business objectives under direction from the Exec and Global Leadership Team
  • Managing and leading change to ensure minimum disruption to our core activities; in charge of our Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for the Cluj Office
  • Acting as a central point of contact for Procurement, H&S, IT and Security teams
  • Very likely to be involved in facility management global projects

 

We are looking for a PINK person, with:

  • Experience designing and delivering an office relocation project (from business case through to delivery of project)
  • Cost conscious, looking for opportunities to compare costs for goods and services to maximize effectiveness
  • Good understanding of local Health and Safety legislation
  • Proven track record of building and office facilities management – vendors, procurement, security etc.
  • Good business and commercial awareness, confident to communicate vision at all management levels
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset – that translates into strategic leadership skills
