SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – JUNE 11, 2015 – Thomsons Online Benefits, the SaaS provider of global employee benefits solutions, proudly announces the appointment of industry veteran Sal Apuzzio as its SVP Sales Americas. At Thomsons, Sal will call upon his decades of success in the HR market, including significantly expanding sales and marketing efforts for global HR management solutions provider, SilkRoad, to drive growth in the Americas. Thomsons will also strengthen the EMEA sales team by moving Chris Wakely, currently SVP of Enterprise Accounts at Thomsons, to SVP Sales for the region.

Sal comes to Thomsons with over 25 years of enterprise software sales experience, and over 10 years of sales leadership experience with leading software providers. In addition to his success at SilkRoad, Sal was also instrumental in developing the sales strategy for Findly, the on-demand talent market leader and a Symphony Technology Group (STG) company.
